# Barbara Feliciano of Ohatchee High School
Barbara Feliciano is a senior from Ohatchee High School. Her career goals include attending Gadsden State Community College to receive a degree in nursing. Once she has worked in the nursing field and has become financially secure, she would like to return to school to earn her family practitioner license. Her ultimate goal is to one day move back to her hometown in Guatemala, where there are very few medical facilities, and open a health clinic.
TCI has the desire to support and encourage high school seniors who plan to pursue an associate degree or a certification in a vocational trade field. With this in mind, we have established the Kenneth Bice Vocational Scholarship in honor of the founder who started TCI in 1979. Over the past nine months we have been recognizing students that demonstrate an eagerness to learn, displays honesty and integrity, and is a leader among his/her peers in their chosen vocational field. Each student that was recognized monthly had the opportunity to submit an essay to be selected for one of two $1000 cash scholarships.
We are excited to announce the 2022-23 winners of the Kenneth Bice Vocational Scholarship to two very deserving students.
TCI feels honored to have met so many outstanding students over this past year and looks forward to continuing to encourage students in the vocational fields.
