Telephone Communications Inc (TCI) has an opening for a Sales Administrative Assistant. TCI is the leading low-voltage general contractor and IT services firm in Eastern Alabama. TCI is located in Anniston, AL and services a 60 mile radius around the Greater Calhoun, Etowah, Talladega, and St. Clair Counties Area. The position of Sales Administrative Assistant is to be filled by a person who is honest, hard-working, team-oriented, and looking for employment longevity. Job Duties:
Communicate with customers to schedule meetings, conferences, and appointments for sales consultants.
Maintains, updates, and tracks sales opportunities in customer databases.
Updates sales and technical staff by gathering, consolidating, analyzing, and forwarding project information via online portal.
Supports sales consultants by tracking, investigating, and reporting sales information and resolving problems.
Resolves order problems by investigating data and history, identifying alternate means for filling orders, and notifying sales and technical staff of results via online portal.
Provides product, promotion, and pricing information by clarifying customer request, selecting and forwarding appropriate information, and answering questions.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
Accomplishes department and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Job Qualifications:
Associate degree or diploma in related field and/or equivalent experience.
2 years experience in customer sales and/or service related environment.
Customer focused.
Dependable and pay attention to detail.
Data entry and Microsoft Office skills.
Willingness to learn new technologies.
Ability to collect, organize, analyze, and distribute information and develop appropriate recommendations on a timely basis.
Ability to work independently and as a team to solve problems concisely and efficiently.
Self-dependent and self-developmental.
Strong ability to communicate, verbally and written, with technical and non-technical individuals.
Job Compensation:
