# Reese Colvin of Southside High School
Congratulations to Reese Colvin for being awarded as the TCI Vocational Student of the Month for Etowah County!
Reese Colvin is a senior at Southside High School. As a Vice President of the FFA and a member of the National Honor Society and Leo Club, he has consistently demonstrated leadership and a strong commitment to service.
Reese's passion extends beyond the classroom, as he actively participates in school activities such as Sleep In Heavenly Peace.
Currently enrolled in Gadsden State Community College, he is pursuing his studies in Automotive Collision and Repair.
Reese's diverse interests, including leather crafting, making fishing lures, and art, reflect his creativity and well-rounded nature. Notably, he is passionately restoring his 1979 Camaro, showcasing his dedication to the automotive field.
With aspirations to open his own Hot Rod Shop and specialize in building custom cars, Reese's future plans align perfectly with his skills and ambitions. Congratulations, Reese Colvin, on being an outstanding student and a deserving recipient of this honor.
TCI desires to support and encourage high school seniors who plan to pursue an associate degree or a certification in a trade/vocational field. With this in mind, we will be offering two scholarships to be awarded in May of each school year. In honor of TCI's Founder, the Kenneth Bice Vocational Scholarship will be awarded to well deserving students.
Each month a senior student enrolled in their local high school vocational/trade program will be selected to be recognized as the TCI Student of the Month. At the end of the school year, two students will be selected to receive a scholarship to apply to their educational cost as they further their education in their chosen field.
